Welcoming 2012 in Style at Lembeh Resort!

We met recent guest Greg Regnier when he walked up to our booth at DEMA with his deposit in hand and asked if we had space over the festive period – he was in luck, we still had a room spare! After arriving from Raja Ampat, Greg got a good night’s rest before really getting stuck in to the amazing diving that we have here in Lembeh. Our great guides at Critters@Lembeh worked hard over the Christmas and New Year period to ensure that Greg and all of our guests got as many critters as possible ticked off their wish lists – we had sightings of Mimic Octopus, Ambon Scorpionfish, Algae Octopus, Hairy Frogfish and so much more! The first dive of the new year gave our guests possibly one of the best presents ever – a Blue Ringed Octopus. Greg managed to get a couple of amazing shots with it really showing off its toxic nature by flashing its ‘blue rings’! Another couple of our favourite shots from Greg was this one of a Porcelain Crab with eggs and the elusive Pygmy Pipedragon (AKA Lembeh Sea Dragon) which Abner, our dive supervisor, found on a night dive at Nudi Falls! Thanks to Greg for sharing these photographs with us and for being such fun during his stay!
