Dive Guide Annual Calendar Competition

We are delighted to announce the winners of our annual Dive Guide Calendar Competition. Each year our Dive Guides compete to have their underwater critter photographs feature in the critters@Lembeh Resort calendar and the entries for the 2017 calendar were some of the best we have ever seen.

Once our talented Dive Guides have chosen their entry submission the images are voted on by our guests in resort to find the winning pictures. This year’s winning image was taken by Fandy Sangi’s sargassum frogfish (Histrio histrio), second place was taken by Opo Kecil who captured a stunning pink eye pygmy goby (Bryaninops natans) and in third place was Marine Biologist Dimpy Jacobs with her bargibanti pygmy seahorse (Hippocampus bargibanti).

We are extremely proud of all of the images in the calendar as well as the Dive Guides’ beautiful drawings. Our Dive Guides are passionate about critters and photography and we think this shines through in our 2017 calendar. We are looking forward to another year of critters!
