The International Society of Aquatic Medicine in Lembeh
A group of 15 enthusiastic divers just finished doing 26 memorable and varied dives with us. They belong to an organization called The International Society of Aquatic Medicine, ISAM.
The group checked off everything offered in our list of possible dive experiences in Lembeh strait, including muck dives, coral dives, mandarin fish dives, night dives, and guided house reef dives. For most of them, Lembeh strait was their first muck diving experience. “We love diving! And we chose Lembeh strait because of the critters”, said Bridget Thomas who arranged the group’s trip to Lembeh. They were also keen to check out some of the other great diving in the area and went to see the rich coral dive sites just outside Lembeh strait. The next day, the whole group went to dive the Bunaken Marine Park on a full day trip. They even made a short visit to the oldest temple in Indonesia, Ban Hin Kiong, in Manado. After Bunaken, the group was still full of enthusiasm and went on a boat trip to Bangka and lastly, rounded it all off with another two full days of diving in Lembeh.
It was a well-rounded diving trip for the whole group and we loved having them here for their energy and contagious excitement.
Thank you for choosing to experience Lembeh with us!
