Lysiosquillina maculata
Tiger Mantis Shrimp
This mantis shrimp has distinctive eyes and a small carapace. It is a spearer. They make burrows in the sand with an entrance and exit, and usually only leave to eat, defend their territory or find a mate. They are a monogamous species. They have orange/brown stripes and their body size is up to 25 cm.
