This species is the most famous kind because it is easily can be identified by the unique blue color, with wide black stripe and have a bright yellow tail. The adult are a shy species and they like to hide at coral crevices and they like to swim at current area so they can feed some zooplankton. The juvenile mostly stay at branching coral like Acropora or Pocillopora so they can shelter. The size can be up to 31 cm for adult.
