Paraluteres prionurus

Blacksaddle Filefish

This species is sandy to grey with distinctive black "saddles" on the back and a yellow tail. It has evolved to mimic Canthigaster valentini, a highly poisonous pufferfish. The two species school together, providing protection to the harmless filefish.
