Leaf Scorpionfish
Solitary or in pairs mainly of the same colour pattern. Found mostly sitting on hard corals and rocks waiting to ambush a prey. The colour varies greatly, ranging from white, yellow, green, pink to red or black. Occasionally change its skin and colour. Dorsal spines start behind its head which is different than in the Cockatoo waspfish, where the spine starts in front of the head. Can stay in the same area for up to a few months.
