Reticulate Stargazer
Found on sandy bottoms in coastal waters. Solitary. Usually only the goggle-like eyes and mouth full of teeth protruding from the sediment, with the rest of the body buried. Mostly seen at night, and rarely can be seen swimming. There are two species of stargazers in Lembeh Strait, Whitemargin and Reticulated stargazers, but since they are almost always buried, the tell them apart is quite difficult.
