Flasher Scorpionfish
Occasionally found on reefs but mostly in rubble and sandy areas or among sea weeds. Can be partially buried. Usually solitary but can be seen in pairs. Colour change according to the environment, but sometimes from unknown reason adopts snow white colour while sitting on black sand. When alarmed, brightly coloured inner sides of pectoral fins are flashed as a warning.
